The San Ramon Valley Education Foundation’s 43rd run. The expo and kids zone at Iron Horse run 8:00 a.m. to noon, with inflatables, a face painter, a fire engine, and a patrol car. Face painting is 9:00 a.m. to noon. The 5K and the 1.5 mile start at 8:30 a.m. The Friendship Run is 9:45 a.m. The mini run starts in heats at 10:15 a.m. Recognition is at 11:00 a.m. The 10K starts at 8:15 a.m. at Charlotte Wood Middle School in Danville and finishes here. Howl-O-Ween Costumed Pet Parade

Free. Pets in costume, treats from George San Ramon, a photo stop, a mini obstacle course, and a sniff patch. The Hub by Pack Animals also runs a ticketed add-on, 1:00–5:00 p.m., at $10 a person and one dog per person. The parade itself is the free hour at 2:00 p.m.
