Storytime starts, and a book sale
Storytimes resume at the Central Library and at Bellis Fair. The Friends book sale fills the Lecture Room Thursday through Saturday. Friday night is a parent concert at the Mount Baker Theatre.

Birth to age 3 with an adult. Simple stories, songs, fingerplays, and movement. The series runs Mondays through Nov 16 and Tuesdays through Nov 17. Pick one session. Free.
Library Explorers

Lecture Room, Central Library
Ages 6–10, families welcome. Stories, experiments, and crafts. Mondays through Nov 16, except this room is the book sale Thu Sep 24 through Sat Sep 26, so Monday is the Explorers day this week.
Bellis Fair storytimes

Multipurpose Room, Bellis Fair branch
- Little Storytime, 10:05, 10:45, and 11:25 a.m., birth to age 3 with an adult.
- Preschool Storytime, 12:05–12:35 p.m., ages 3–5 with an adult, plus a simple craft.
- Baby Time, 2:30–3:30 p.m., birth to 12 months with a caregiver. This one is a six-week class and registration is required. No class on Oct 7.
If you enter the mall before 11:00 a.m., use the door by Target or the food court.
The same Wednesday, Builders Club is at the Fairhaven branch, 3:00–5:00 p.m. in the Fireplace Room. Ages 4–12. Legos, straw connectors, and Duplos are provided.

Friends of the Library book sale

Books, DVDs, and kids’ titles. Cash and cards. Proceeds go to the library. Thursday morning preschool storytime is in the Dodson Room, not the Lecture Room, so the two can share the building.
Saturday’s $5-bag hour ends at 3:00. The farmers market that morning is 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. at Depot Market Square, 1100 Railroad Ave, a short walk if you do the stalls first.
