Thursday is the farmers market. Saturday afternoon is a building playshop at KidsQuest. Sunday night, Meydenbauer hosts the Moon Festival Melody concert.

KidsQuest lists an educator-led playshop on building and creating: real tools and engineering with recycled materials. Geared to ages 5 and up. Free with museum admission or membership. An end time was not on the listing. Confirm the day’s floor hours on the museum calendar before you buy tickets. The museum is a short walk from the Bellevue Transit Center.

Moon Festival Melody

The 12th Moon Festival Melody concert. This year’s theme on the calendar is “In the Footsteps of Music: From East to West, From Classical to Modern.” The program notes Moon Reflected on Second Spring, music from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Piazzolla, and Tchaikovsky. Cellist Kai Chen, pianist Andrew Yang, percussionist Chan Tang, and the Seattle Festival Orchestra, with Yuchi Chou conducting.
The calendar blurb names the day and the theatre. It does not put a start time in that description. Check the ticket page. Better for older kids who can sit through a concert than for preschoolers. Saturday’s playshop and Sunday’s concert do not overlap.
