Saturday is the Bigfoot Kids’ Book Festival indoors at the senior center, and the Saturday market at the same hours out on Willows Road. A family picks one, or splits.

Fourth annual, free, indoors. No tickets and no advance registration. Author read-alouds and activities are free. Brick & Mortar Books, the host shop, lists book signings, panels, and activities with children’s authors and illustrators. The festival FAQ says it covers board books through young adult, and that you may bring books you already own. Disabled parking is at the center.

The festival and the market overlap from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. They are not within walking distance of a stroller loop. One caregiver can take older kids to the books and another can do the market, or you can do the market at 9:00 and reach the festival late.

The Redmond library branch page did not list upcoming kids’ programs for this span. Do not invent a storytime. Marymoor and Downtown Park are the open outing if Saturday is the only dated plan.
