Fair on 44th was last Saturday. This week the plan is the library next to City Hall and a loop at Scriber Lake Park.

The city closed 44th from 188th St SW to 194th St SW for a free block party: trucks to climb on, a food drive, crafts, and department booths. That date is the Saturday before this issue. It does not repeat this weekend. If a flyer is still in a window, it is last week’s.

The branch sits on the same campus as City Hall. The Sno-Isle page checked for this issue had already moved past early September and did not list a storytime inside Sep 14–20. Preschool Storytime with Adrianna is Wednesday, Sep 30, which is next week. Use the branch calendar if a session was added.

No festival is posted at the lake this week. The loop, the boardwalk, and the creek are the outing. Trails can be muddy after rain. The city parks page is the map.
The recreation center is on the civic campus, with the entrance from 188th. Drop-in pool and gym hours change by season. They are on the city’s recreation page, not a one-day special this week.
