Edmonds Museum Summer Market

Saturdays through October, hosted by the Edmonds Historical Museum. About 90 family-owned vendors. Farmers grow or raise what they sell. One more Saturday in this season falls inside next week’s issue, and the market keeps going after that.
Artisan Alley Fall Market

Historic Old Opera House, 515 Dayton St
An indoor maker market in the former Masonic lodge, a short walk from the street market. The Edmonds Beacon lists local artisans, food, and a free hourly raffle. Leashed dogs are welcome. My Lynnwood News, in a sponsor note, says about 25 handmakers and bakers, plus Split Open Food Truck.
Later dates on that note are Sat Oct 10 and Sat Nov 21. Oct 10 is not this week.
Galleries and a concert
Zoë Dusanne: The Art of Seeing

Cascadia Art Museum, 190 Sunset Ave S
The exhibition runs through Jan 3, 2027, in the East, Middle, and West galleries. Adults $15, seniors 65+ $10, youth 18 and under free, students free. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
Music in the Museum

Cascadia Art Museum, 190 Sunset Ave S
Pianist Ayke Agus and cellist Diane Tremaine. The program is a Beethoven piano sonata, the andante from Rachmaninoff’s cello sonata, and Three Preludes by Gershwin. About one hour. The ticket includes the galleries, so the Dusanne show is part of the evening if you arrive early.
$16 for members, $22 for non-members. Seating is limited. The museum says these concerts often sell out.

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8:00 p.m., Sunday at 2:00 p.m., through Oct 11. About 2 hours with a 15-minute intermission. Mild adult themes. Driftwood says teen and up. A note dated Sep 26 says scattered single and ADA seats remain. Tickets $31 or $28, plus a $3 fee. TeenTix is $5.
The Saturday curtain is after the 6:00 p.m. museum concert. Those two do not stack unless you leave the concert early.

Downtown Edmonds shops and pubs
Explore Edmonds describes a town-wide Dolly Parton day: themed drinks, music, merch, a photo stop, karaoke, and a book drive for Edmonds School District libraries. Most of the stops it names are pubs and tasting rooms. The book drive is the piece that belongs in a family plan. The rest is a night out.

Write on the Sound, the City of Edmonds writers’ conference, holds its pre-conference online on Sat Sep 26. The in-person weekend is Oct 2–4 at the Frances Anderson Center.
