Two markets, Paula Cole, and the last Christie
Saturday has the museum market, Artisan Alley indoors, and Paula Cole at 7:30. Sunday is the last Driftwood matinee of A Murder Is Announced, then an ABBA tribute at night.
Saturday markets
Edmonds Museum Summer Market
Sat Oct 10 · 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
118 5th Ave N
The museum hosts Saturdays through October. The Sep 26 listing was 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. About 90 family-owned vendors. Confirm the Oct 10 hours on the museum page if they posted a change.
Artisan Alley Fall Market
Sat Oct 10 · 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Historic Old Opera House, 515 Dayton St
Indoor makers, a short walk from the street market. The Edmonds Beacon listing for the September date named local artisans, food, and a free hourly raffle, and leashed dogs. A sponsor note named Oct 10 as the next date after Sep 26, with the same 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. window. The following date on that note is Sat Nov 21.
The street market ends at 2:00. Artisan Alley keeps going until 4:00.
Explore Edmonds has also listed a first Haystack Festival for this Saturday, with homegrown sets in 15 downtown venues. That listing, as used here, did not include a start time. Check it before you build the afternoon around a stage.
Stage
A Murder Is Announced
Thu Oct 8, Fri Oct 9, and Sat Oct 10 · 8:00 p.m.; Sun Oct 11 · 2:00 p.m.
Wade James Theatre, 950 Main St
Driftwood’s Christie run ends Sunday. The pattern already posted is Thursday through Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. About 2 hours with intermission. Mild adult themes, best for teens and up. Tickets $31 or $28, plus a $3 fee. TeenTix is $5.
Saturday’s 8:00 p.m. curtain is the same night as Paula Cole at 7:30. Pick one.
Paula Cole
Sat Oct 10 · 7:30 p.m.
Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave N
On the ECA calendar. An adult concert. It overlaps Driftwood.
ABRA Cadabra
Sun Oct 11 · 7:00 p.m.
Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave N
An ABBA tribute. The matinee at Driftwood is 2:00 p.m., so a family that wants the play and a parent who wants the tribute can do both only with a long gap and a bedtime plan. The tribute is not a kids’ show.
Tuesday, Oct 6, ECA lists Gromkie (Loud) at 8:00 p.m. The title is the whole description on the calendar.
Galleries
