Sustainamania, then Oktoberfest
Saturday morning is the city’s sustainability festival, with a touch-a-truck and a repair cafe. The same afternoon, Anderson School starts an all-ages Oktoberfest.

The 14th annual sustainability festival. The city lists a touch-a-truck, local artisans, live music, games, crafts, food trucks, and a Repair Café. The page does not list an admission fee.
A quiet room will be on site for anyone who needs a break from the noise. Assistive listening devices are at the information booth. Free parking is in the City Hall garage. The city asks people to walk, bike, bus, or carpool.
The Repair Café is run by WSU Snohomish County Extension. Bring something you can carry: furniture, a bike, a small appliance, jewelry. Two items, first come, first served. Parts are not free if something has to be ordered. Repairs are not guaranteed. Kids can watch a fix. They should not be the ones handing over a heavy tool.
Teen and school groups on the vendor list include the North Creek High School robotics team, Inglemoor Earth Corps, and the Innovation Lab High School climate club. That is a booth visit, not a class.

Free, and McMenamins marks it all ages. German-style specials, the once-a-year Oktoberfest lager, and music at the Shed:

Sustainamania ends at 2:00, so the first band is the overlap if you leave City Hall on time. The evening sets are the parent night that still allows kids in the room. Beer is the point of the later hours. The listing does not describe a separate kids’ activity.
The river, the rest of the week
No library storytime falls inside this Monday–Sunday span on the Bothell branch list. Toddler and baby storytimes are Monday, Sep 28. The Park at Bothell Landing is the open outing until then.
